We will also walk through a scenario that demonstrates how to use the abstract feature in CDQM to view the data your hospital has uploaded and abstracted, prior to performing the Approving for Data Processing Steps.

We’ll demonstrate how to create a query, preview the results, and export the data. We’ll show you how to select exactly which fields you want, use filters to export only the records you’re interested in, and save your queries so you can run them again.

Version 11.0 is scheduled for release in December 2017 and supports revisions to measures and data elements effective with January 1, 2018 (1Q18) discharges and encounters. We will describe changes in the specifications manuals and highlight enhancements.

This course is designed for customers who would like an overview of core measures quarterly submissions. This would help new users also. We will describe the steps to a successful submission. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and The Joint Commission Deadlines differ and are reviewed. This course provides an overview of the deadlines, programs and submission process. We will also discuss data quality reviews in CDQM and QualityNet along with review of the Provider Participation Reports.

This course is designed for new users who would like a broad overview of features your organization can use to review uploaded data, abstract episodes of care, create concurrent records, approve episodes for submission, and run reports. CareDiscovery Quality Measures Users
This course is designed for organizations using the reabstraction module in CareDiscovery Quality Measures. We will discuss the reabstraction process. Participants will learn how to establish user settings for reabstraction, set up reabstraction sampling, reabstract episodes, and run and interpret reabstraction reports.
This course is designed for users who will be generating reports in CareDiscovery Quality Measures. We will discuss the types of reports available and examine reports you can use to assess your organization’s performance on quality measures, view physician results, and aid with administrative tasks. Participants will learn how to approve data so that it will be reflected on reports and how to run and interpret many standard reports.
This session is designed for users of the Concurrent module in CareDiscovery Quality Measures. Participants will learn how to create a concurrent record, use features on the concurrent abstraction page, and run a list of concurrent episodes of care. We will also discuss reporting on concurrent data and reconciling concurrent records to uploaded records.
